If I turn the iPad upside down with the cover closed should the cover stay magnetised to the front?

When I close the cover it turns the screen on, but the cover does ot stay in place. Should it? It seems a bit daft if it doesn't 'stick' using the magnets.

are there magnets on the back cover to hold the front in place when folded?

some back covers have built in magnets to hold the smart cover in place while the iPad is in use

Is the case (back) and the cover (front) attached? Or is this just a Smart cover with a snap on case for the rear?

I just purchased an ipad2. I would like the otterbox for protection but I also want the front cover of the smart case. Are they compatible?

Are the edges supposed to be sharp?

I just picked up the new case from an apple store and after getting home and fitting it to my iPad I was disappointed at how nasty it feels to hold the iPad now. The edges of this case are really sharp and I wondered if it was really designed that way or if mine had been manufactured wrongly.

Also, if th iPad is held upside down the cover falls away, shouldn't the magnets hold it in place?
