Are there magnets to hold the flap closed across the screen?

If I turn the iPad upside down with the cover closed should the cover stay magnetised to the front?

When I close the cover it turns the screen on, but the cover does ot stay in place. Should it? It seems a bit daft if it doesn't 'stick' using the magnets.

are there magnets on the back cover to hold the front in place when folded?

some back covers have built in magnets to hold the smart cover in place while the iPad is in use

Does the Smart Case have an extra magnet to hold the cover in place on the back? The Smart Cover does not hold very strongly when in the back.

The original Smart Cover, when wrapped behind the iPad display, doesn't hold in place very well. I use a third-party case, with an extra magnet, to hold the Smart Cover. I was hoping the Smart Case had a similar magnet.

Is the front cover removable?

Can you remove the magnetic front cover if you just want to hold the iPad without it?

Does the case help hold the iPad in place in your lap?

I'm wondering if the material on the back of the iPad case provides some friction so that it will rest in your lap without your having to hold it. I really like the smart cover but the biggest hassle of using an iPad while reading in the chair is having to hold it continuously.

How durable is hinge part of the case? Will it eventually wear and separate? This was not an issue with the magnetic hinge interface.

Does this work well with a screen protector?

I've had other back covers that lift the screen protector I applied or makes them bubble. Would this case let the applied screen protector lay flat without peeling up?

Does the Smart Case mess with screen protectors?

I was thinking of getting a Smart Case for my iPad, I like the overall look and feel that the case offers. I was wondering if it messed up a screen protector that I had installed on my iPad.
