Is mine Genuine? No Product Red logo on the inside of the cover.

I bought a Red Leather iPad Smart Cover advertised as a genuine apple product (not from the Apple store,) but it does not have the Product Red logo on the inside.
It still states "Designed by Apple in Califonia. Assembled in China." and has a 17 digit serial number on the inside of the magnetic strip.
Does this lack of a Product Red logo mean it is not genuine or was there ever a version which didn't have the logo?

My daughter gave me an iPad for my recent birthday and I wonder about a cover for it. Does the iPad Smart Cover work on all iPads? Does it completely cover the iPad for travel?

what is difference in ipad smart cover leather between ipad smart cover Polyurethane???

because i want to know who between them is strong and longest time to use????
because my daughter is 6 years old and she have an ipad4. and i want to buy her a cover or case for her ipad4. that's why i want to know what is the best or smart to buy for her??? because she is a child so i want to buy her a cover for her ipad4 for keeping safe her tablet :)
