Can I attach a USB drive to Time Capsule to access music folders on a PC and Mac?

I know similar questions have been asked before but I wanted to describe my specific scenario before I purchase a TC.

I have a Mac and a PC on my home network, and the issue I keep running into is that it's hard to keep music up to date on both computers. If I put new music on one computer, I then have to hook up an external USB drive and transfer that music to the other one.

So my question is this: if I buy a Time Capsule, can I use the Time Capsule to wirelessly back up my Mac AND attach an external USB drive to the TC to access my music?

The idea would be to have the music only available on that external USB drive and "point" iTunes to that drive on both the Mac and PC. That way, both computers are accessing the same files and I don't have to update the folders between two different computers.

If i attach a ps3 to time capsule will it see it as an external hard drive?

I can then stream music on the ps3 to Airport Express speakers via my mac (possibly a little energy hungry...)

I am running out of memory and would like to transfer data like photos to another hard drive and erase the photos from my Macbook. Can I use the time capsule or is an external hard drive better. Also I have one but it doesn't show what I have stored in it. It is only for back ups. Want one that I can access and able to view pics, documents etc. Any advice??

Can I use an old TC as an external drive attached via USB to a new Time Capsule?

I want to upgrade my 1st gen TC to the 2TB 2nd gen. Once I do that can I use the old TC as an external hard drive attached via USB to the new TC? Or even use it attached directly to my Macbook? Basically, can it run without issues without using it as a gateway?

Can I attach a 2TB drive via USB port on the TC to get the overflow from my 1TB TC?

I have a 1 TB Time Capsule. I want to increase the storage above 1TB. 2 TB drives are available via a few local retail stores. Will the overflow from TC go the the attached drive? And will I be able to access the data from TC?

Can I use the time capsule to transfer files from a pc to a mac?

I have over a thousand songs and a few hundred pictures on my old HP desktop and I would like to know if I can back these files up on the the Time Capsule so that they will be available for use on my Mac. I need to save these files somewhere so that i can use them on my Mac instead of my having to use my desktop to access them.

Can i use TC to back-up a chosen handful or 1 specific file/folder rather than my entire system?

Eg. If when using Final cut;

I want to save my raw (original) video footage to only 1 hard drive & 1 Time capsule, my music files to another hard drive and another Time capsule; and then completed project to yet another hard drive & tome capsule.

Thats 3 hard drives & 3 Time capsules.

Time Capsule as a wireless hard drive set up

I am trying to set up my Time Capsule as a wireless and or wired hard drive to be able to:

1. Stream movies and music to my Sony TV via my ITV.
2. Act as a hard drive that I can access from my HP laptop running Windows Vista.

What are the specific steps? I have been looking for hours online and have found nothing.

Bridging the Time Capsule but using it as a WIFI access point and use with Windows Server 2008 for serving the IP addresses in my WAN. Can it be done?

I would like to use this device in my office environment. We have been moving form PC to MAC and loving every min. My current set up is this, MODEM (bridged) connected to WIFI - DLINK router connected to WINDOWS Server (which is serving up the IP address within my WAN).

Can I replace my DLINK with the Time Capsule to achieve the same results. Using the server to serve the IP address and the Time Capsule to use as a WIFI access point and the back up drive of course.
