can you have multiple time capsules on the same network?
Looking to replace my first gen Time Capsule with a newer model with more HDD and dual-band capacity. Can I keep my old TC on the network when I upgrade to the new one and put the old one in bridge mode to expand the wireless network? And can I backup to BOTh devices, either redundantly or assigning different devices to different TC’s?
In terms of dual-band, am I better off using the old TC to create a separate network for b/g devices and use the new one exclusively for n devices, or will the new one handle dual-band adequately so the b/g signals won’t slow down n devices?- Asked by Jason S from Cranbury

Is it possible to setup WDS on Time Capsule to allow Airport Express devices to add physical ports?
I'm replacing an old Airport Extreme base station (the bubble looking one) with a new Time Capsule. I had been using an Airport Express to put an additional port online in an office environment (for VoIP phone hardware and old non-wifi enabled devices) and additional network coverage in my house. However, with the new Time Capsule, there doesn't appear to be any way to use WDS to extend the network in the same way I had been. I am able to connect the Airport Express to share the USB jack without issue but that's only one part of what I need. Any help is appreciated.

Can an old Time Capsule be used as Hard Drive for media files so I can get a new TC for backup?
As I have gotten into editing and archiving family video, I have filled up my iMac's memory and my Time Capsule is also full. Can I "empty" the backup data from my original TC and direct my iTunes media to be stored there and then buy a new TC with more memory to resume by backups?
If I do this, will all my media still be "visible" to AppleTV so I can still access it via AppleTV and be able to stream it to my entertainment system?
If so, how do I remove all the backup data from the original TC?- Asked by Patrick G from Cambridge
