I want to buy Time Capsule for my iMac, but i am worried that the wireless router in TIme Capsule will interfere with the wireless router in the AT&T
I want to buy Time Capsule for my iMac, but i am worried that the wireless router in TIme Capsule will interfere with the wireless router in the AT&T 2wire. The AT&T 2wire is a single unit that contains both modem and a router. I was wondering if anyone has any experience using these 2 devices and if they are compatible. In particular, Is there a way of disabling or by passing the router in the AT&T 2wire?

Connecting Time Capsule to ATT Uverse Router
What is the best (and easiest) way to connect a Tiime Capsule to the AT&T Uverse router and Time Capsule to my iMac (so, I can use Time Machine for backing up)? Can I also connect my HP priinter to the TC (I can connect via USB or wireless); which is the best route to go for that? Right now the HP is connected to my iMac via USB.

Time Capsule vs my campus wireless?
I'm wondering about the automatic backup feature, primarily.
I live on a college campus with a wireless network that works just fine. In order to use the automatic backup feature of Time Capsule, would I have to disconnect from my campus wireless and connect to the time capsule (thus disabling my internet)? I'm not allowed to set up my own wireless networks, so using the Time Capsule as my wireless router point wouldn't work.- Asked by Robert S from Columbia

I'm confused by the "wireless" claim for the Time Capsule.
As a reference point, my HP 3310 All-In-One printer is wireless. It "finds" my home network automatically - no connections to a router are necessary.
Why would Time Capsule have to connect to my Comcast router to function wirelessly? I don't understand why. I don't need it as a network. I just want it as a completely wireless (i.e., no cables) backup hard drive.
Is that possible with Time Capsule and if not why not (ref HP printer). Thanks for your help.
