I have an Airport Extreme, hooked up to an Enternet docking station, where my wireless modem (SIM) resides. Will a Time Capsule replace both?

Can the Time Capsule be hooked up directly to my iMac and be used as a wireless network extender at the same time?

I have a Airport Express hooked to my DSL modem in another room and use my Time Capsule as network extender. The Time Capsule is in the office with my iMac. Is it possible to use the Time Capsule as a wireless network extender and also hook it up to my iMac via "hard-wire" so that I get the fastest data transfer speed available. Being that it sits right next to the iMac, I don't mind hooking it up directly to it.

Can I use my Airport Extreme as an Airport express if I buy a Time Capsule?

I have an Airport Extreme I use as ruter.
I'd like to extend my wireless range and buy a TC to back up all my devices.
Can I use my current Airport Extreme to extend my wireless range if I buy a TC? Or do I still need also an Airport Express?

Do the Airport Extreme Base Station, and the Time Capsule work on Power over Ethernet?

I read that the first Airport Base Stations did, but I can't see it in the docs that these ones do now. Thanks

I access the internet via a data SIM card wifi modem. Can I access files wirelessly on a Time Capsule while simultaneously being connected to the web through the seperate wifi modem. My computer is an iMac with OS x 10.6.8.

Can I use another router with the time capsule?

Can I use another router with the time capsule? I really just want to use the time capsule as a wireless external hard drive and wireless printer station. Also do I have to directly connect the time capsule to the modem and/or other router?

My MacBook Pro has Time Machine in the dock & I have an Airport Extreme. Is Time Machine the same as Time Capsule? Is Time Cap already on my MacBook?

Sorry, I am a novice obviously. My Mac needs to be repaired and I'm trying to find a way to backup my Mac before bringing it in. I keep reading about Time Capsule but see a lot of negative reviews. I hate to buy it esp. if I already have it. Thx!
