Is my Airport Extreme A1143 (draft n protocol) compatible with Netgear's GS608 8 port Gigabit Switch?
I simply want to enable 5 more computers to have direct (ethernet) Internet access by connecting through the Netgear switch which will be connected to the one of the Gigabit ports on the Base Station which of course is connected to the Cable Modem.

Can I connect my smart TV to an Airport Extreme with an ethernet cable?
I want to buy a new router to extend my current network and also to plug in my iMac and LG Smart TV via the ethernet ports as we are looking at connecting to the NBN. Would I be able to connect my TV to the Airport via ethernet, and would i be able to plug a switch into one of the ports if I have the need to plug in more than 3 devices?

Can I use an Airport Extreme along with an Airport Express to effectively extend ethernet to a HDTV
I have a dual band airport extreme connected to Roadrunner serving my Macbook Pro, iPod touch, USB printer and a USB hard drive. I also have an airport extreme to stream iTunes audio to my stereo system. I am buying a Samsung 55B8000 HDTV that has a USB port to be used with a Samsung proprietary wireless adapter for wireless internet connection which I don't have. The TV also has an ethernet port that can be used for internet downloadable firmware updates, streaming internet video and some other goodies, That port can be easily set up as a DHCP connection to the internet. To avoid buying the proprietary Samsung adapter, can I use the ethernet port on the airport express to effectively extend the ethernet connection from the airport extreme to the airport express or is the airport express ethernet port only for a WAN connection and not a LAN connection? If the airport express won't do it, would a second airport extreme do it? i.e. use the LAN ports on both airports.

I need 16 ethernet 1000 ports AND dualband wireless G/N. How to expand the AirPort Extreme Base Station to give 13 more ethernet for onlineLANparty?
We regularly host LAN parties, most of which are wired through a hub and are off-line. However, more and more games are requiring that each PC be connected to STEAM and/or LIVE so we are looking for a solution where we can have 16 wired computers running at the same time, PLUS we want to have the flexibility to connect to the same network via wireless G or N.
The AirPort Extreme Base Station appears to be the perfect choice for the wireless aspect, but it only has 3 ethernet 1000 ports. Most other options only have 4. Is there a way for us to expand the number of ethernet 1000 ports on the AirPort Extreme Base Station?
We will further use this to connect PCs on CAT5e cables throughout our home. We have a dedicated Windows XP PC hooked up to the TV for Netflix and music (work) stations in the kitchen and two bedrooms, so we want those to be wired into 4 of the 16 wired ports.
I would guess that I could just plug a hub into one of the ethernet ports, but I don't know if that would get all the HUBbed PCs onto the internet or not.- Asked by Ben B from Casper

Can I add a hub to increase the number of wired ethernet connections?
I'd like to extend the wired connection to other devices (Blue Ray player and DVR), but I've exceeded the number of ethernet ports in the back of the AirPort Extreme.

Can an ethernet port linkup on the extreme base station be used for a 3TB 'Home Network Hard Drive' in the same way the USB port makes HD's wireless?
I would like to use a 3TB 'Home Network Drive' for streaming my movies and music over my wireless network. It uses an ethernet cable to transfer data (much faster than USB 2.0), and would work by plugging it into my Extreme Base Station's spare ethernet port. Will Airport Utility immediately recognise it as a Hardrive?- or is the Extreme Base Station restricted to only ready Hard Drives via the USB port? Thanks alot!

Should I get an AirPort Extreme, and will it interfere with a 2WIRE wireless router?
I am wondering too if it will support an internet connection to a Windows 7 upgraded (from Vista) PC and a Nintendo Wii console. On my existing wireless router, would I simply plug the AirPort into a normal ethernet port or the WAN port?
