Can I Airplay without internet, and stream content from my macbook, ipad, iphone onto my HD TV?

I am located in Afghanistan, and I own a Macbook Pro late 2011, an iPad 3rd Genaeration, and an iPhone4s. I am wanting to stream product from each/all of these devices to my HD TV...I am interested in getting a device to airplay, like the Airplay Extreme, my only concern is that with limited internet(none), I will not be able to meet my goal of streaming all of my content untililzing the Airplay Extreme, I know that once I am back home I will not have any issues but...well I guess I dont want to wait that long, lol. I would love to purchase one now. So if you tell me that I can set up, lets say a stand alone internal network with all of my devices without Internet, I will definintely be buying one very soon. how do i hook my macbook pro into my tv wirelessly?

my direct tv box has an internet connectoin option. i was wondering if it was possible to stream my laptop into that wirelessly? or what my best option was without having to purchase another piece of hardware.

I have a Time Capsule, and want to have a internet connection to my A/V equipment (TV, BD, and HD-DVR(Directv)).

can I use the Ethernet to go to these?

I would like to have all these connected at the same time via ethernet. I was thinking of a airport express (gaining iTunes streaming) but can it handle multiple devices with a switch?? or Am I better off with the Airport Extreme.

Can this device block inbound and outbound traffic for a specific device on the network?

I have an Apple TV and an HP printer - both are on my current wireless network. I also have metered internet; and I cannot afford to have either of these devices downloading content or updates; all I want to do is prevent them from accessing the outside world, while still keeping them usable by computers on my network - yes I know the atv needs internet access to stream content; but I do not want to stream content from the internet, I just want to stream content from my laptop.

Can I set up wireless without utilizing the internet? I want to connect my Macbook to my sound system & connect my i-phone (remote app) & control

I have attempted utilizing my airport extreme as a closed network for live music presentations. Wiring my MacBook to my BOSE L-1 system for background music and having the ability to use the set-up WiFi (without internet) as a closed network to give my i-phone the ability to control my laptop with the Remote App.

I have not found a way to set this up, every configuration seams to demand the internet connection.

Can I stream media from a Hard Drive that is connected to an Airport Extreme Base Station to the new, 2nd Generation Apple TV?

I used to have a Mac Mini and I kept the iTunes library on an external hard drive. Now that Mini is gone and I want to simply hook that external hard drive to my Airport Extreme Base Station and stream that content to a new Apple TV.

can I use the 3g internet on my iPhone with my airport extreme?

We would like to connect the airport extreme to an internet enabled iPhone and use the 3g service for all devices, Apple TV and Mini Mac connected to the airport extreme. Is this possible?
