If i use airport extreme with my router/modem (which already has wireless) can i get wireless from both the airport and the router/modem?
I need something like the Airport because My router/modem is far from my bedroom, and only one ethernet cable extends to my room. i have to unplug the cable to switch between my xbox and my pc. also, the wireless has bad connection from my room. if i use the airport extreme, can i get 2 wireless signals (one from the extreme, one from the modem/router) or will only one work?

Can Airport Extreme extend my existing wireless connection (from Cable modem) to another WinXP SP3 PC via Ethernet?
I have a Rogers Cable Modem, that is connected via Ethernet to my DLINK DIR-615 wireless network. I use it to connect my main WinXP PC via Ethernet and wireless to my iPhone, wife's iPod Touch, and 2 Sony PSP3000s (not all simultaneously). I'd like to purchase the Airport Express or Airport Extreme Base Station to extend the existing wireless connection to another room in my apartment to use for a) another WinXP SP3 PC, and b) my lovely Apple TiBook G4.
Can either Airport Express/Extreme do this with or without the 802.11N hardware models??!
Thanks.- Asked by Donovan S from Toronto

Airport Exteme and Time Warner Cable wireless modem:
I have read some of the questions pertaining this issue and yet, I have not read a single solid answer from the Apple support team. I have an HP Laser Printer and the only reason from me to buy this product is that I would be able to utilize one printer for my laptop, PC, phone, and iPad WIFi. Will it work with my wireless Time Warner WiFi modern? I know that I'm only able to add 5 devices.

Does it have to be connected to a cable modem?
Can this be used for file/print sharing only, without plugging it into my cable modem? My cable connection is in a different room than my home office ..so i really only need it to wirelessly share my hard drives and printer. So wondering if i can continue to use my Linksys as the wireless router, and the AirPort basically as an extension to my existing network.

Can I connect airport extreme to a Motorola sb151 cable modem usb port, which is connected to a cisco wireless-g wrt54gs router, for 2 networks?
I am hoping to run 2 parallel networks by connecting the usb port from the Motorola modem to the usb port on the airport extreme. By doing this I can hopefully get more range and faster speeds, and maybe eventually disable the cisco router. By the way, I have no macs yet, all pc's. Thanks for your help!

Are the Air Port Express and Air Port Extreme compatible with RCA wired modem/Time Warner?
We have a RCA cable modem (wired) provided by Time Warner and would like to create a wifi network in our apartment.
1) Will the Air Port express and Air Port extreme work with it, and are you aware of any possible problems?
2) What would be the advantage of getting an Air Port extreme over an Air Port express?
Thanks.- Asked by Francesca B from Brooklyn

Will this work with a wireless cable modem? If so, how, and what settings should I use?
I have a wireless modem that was given to me by Time Warner when I got my internet service from them. I know it will work with a cable modem, but I ask my question because my cable modem already has wireless capability. So, would this work or would it interfere with the existing wireless signal or would it not work?
Basically, I just want everything to connect to the airport express and to not connect directly to the cable modem. Is this possible, and if so, how and what do I need to know?- Asked by Kris L from Brooktondale

Will the airport extreme work with a time warner cable modem?
I have a cable modem that was given to me by time warner cable, my ISP. My question is, will an airport extreme work correctly with something like this?
Also, my ISP only allows five devices to be connected at one time, so I was wondering if this would be an issue, or if any devices connected to the airport extreme would all be counted as just one?- Asked by Susan L from Brooktondale
