I have a PC which is connected by an ethernet cable to a wireless router. On another part of the house however I don't get a fast connection using my Macbook. Can I use airport extreme by connecting it to the router with an ethernet cable? Will this improve the range and performance?

Anyway, if I bought a Airport Extreme, how would I get it to connect on 3 PC's? (1 laptop, and 2 desktops with adapters)

Can Airport Extreme extend my existing wireless connection (from Cable modem) to another WinXP SP3 PC via Ethernet?
I have a Rogers Cable Modem, that is connected via Ethernet to my DLINK DIR-615 wireless network. I use it to connect my main WinXP PC via Ethernet and wireless to my iPhone, wife's iPod Touch, and 2 Sony PSP3000s (not all simultaneously). I'd like to purchase the Airport Express or Airport Extreme Base Station to extend the existing wireless connection to another room in my apartment to use for a) another WinXP SP3 PC, and b) my lovely Apple TiBook G4.
Can either Airport Express/Extreme do this with or without the 802.11N hardware models??!
Thanks.- Asked by Donovan S from Toronto

Does the Airport Extreme have any capability of sending wireless signal to a computer that is not capable of wireless?
I have a ZyXEL wireless base station on the middle ground of my house. It is currently powering my MacBook with wireless signal on the upper floor, as well as a Dell that does not have any wireless capability but yet the ZyXEL station came with a wireless USB plug-in so the computer has access to wireless signal. The only problem is, this wireless system really horrible. I get absolutely horrible signal on the Dell and ok signal on the MacBook and I want to switch to something better so I can get great signal strength, since I play online games. Is there any way this Airport Extreme or even Express can some how power my Dell computer down stairs without having something being plugged in, because the Dell is positioned where there are no cable jacks of any sort or even power plug ports.

Can this stream from iTunes in the same way the airport express can?
I want 3 things from this product, can it;
1) Stream iTunes from pc's/macs/iOS devices to a stereo like The airport express can?
2) Can I plug in a regular USB hard drive and access it wirelessly from various pc's/macs?
3) Can I share a printer through this whilst doing all of the above at the same time? (pretty sure this is possible-confirmation would be great)
Thanks in advance!
PS if you know how easy/difficult it would be to do all of the above(with initial setup from Vista) please rate it out of ten, let me know! Thanks.- Asked by Peter P

Can I use an Airport Extreme along with an Airport Express to effectively extend ethernet to a HDTV
I have a dual band airport extreme connected to Roadrunner serving my Macbook Pro, iPod touch, USB printer and a USB hard drive. I also have an airport extreme to stream iTunes audio to my stereo system. I am buying a Samsung 55B8000 HDTV that has a USB port to be used with a Samsung proprietary wireless adapter for wireless internet connection which I don't have. The TV also has an ethernet port that can be used for internet downloadable firmware updates, streaming internet video and some other goodies, That port can be easily set up as a DHCP connection to the internet. To avoid buying the proprietary Samsung adapter, can I use the ethernet port on the airport express to effectively extend the ethernet connection from the airport extreme to the airport express or is the airport express ethernet port only for a WAN connection and not a LAN connection? If the airport express won't do it, would a second airport extreme do it? i.e. use the LAN ports on both airports.

Multiple AirPort Expresses on 1 Airport Extreme
My Primary network is through an Airport Extreme. I have an existing Airport Express which I use to drive PC speakers for iTunes music and as an Ethernet connection for my DirecTV DVR. This Express connects to network wirelessly.
I want to add another ethernet connection in yet another room. Will my Airport Extreme be able to "drive" two different Airport Expresses wirelessly?
The existing Express and Extreme are the current models in the Apple Store.
Thank you and have a nice day.- Asked by Gordon P from Atlanta

Hi How do I connect a G5 Power Mac from upstairs to an existing wireless Airport Express netwprk? It has no airport card.
We've just got a Power Mac G5 desktop Dual 2 Ghz for our office upstairs. We currently have a Mac Book Pro wirelessly using an Airport Express in the living room downstairs. The G5 has no Airport card. What's the best and cheapest way to connect the G5 to our current setup? Do I need to buy an old Airport Extreme card, a third party wireless card, or is there a way using the Airport Express we can connect it? Even if I connected the G5 directly to the Express using a very long ethernet cable down the stairs I don't see an extra ethernet slot in the Express to add it.
