Does the AP Extreme have to be attached to a computer?
Once I get it set up and attach hard drives and printers, does the Extreme have to continue to be attached to a computer? Or can I run iTunes on a laptop on the network, and the Extreme will then send it to speakers etc. over the wireless network?

With 11n AP Extreme and 11n AP Express 50 feet away, will the 11g Macs connect automatically to the 11g signal?
My DSL + AP Extreme (new 11n version) is in my office, 50 ft. from the house. My house computers are all 11g, so will the newest AP Express with 11n work...and will those 11g Macs still connect at 11g speeds? I'm mainly wanting to do this so the fastest possible speed will be in the house.

Can you hook two AirPort Extreme stations together such that both offer a single guest network, and a single private network?
In a more commercial setting, this would mean setting the ethernet ports between routers to run traffic from both VLAN's so that the second router could route the traffic on the guest network. Otherwise, setting the second router to have a guest network could still grant access to the private network on the first router.

Can a non-wireless capable computer print to a USB-connected printer through ethernet?
I have a desktop computer that is not capable of wireless internet. I also have two laptops in the house, and would like to print wirelessly. The printer is connected directly to the desktop. If I purchased the airport extreme and connected the printer to it instead, while having an ethernet cable between the desktop and the AP extreme, would the desktop be able to print without changing anything?

I have to have my wireless router on a different floor from my printer and first computer. Can I use Airport Extreme to access printer from a laptop?
The main computer to which the printer is hard wired is on one floor of the house. The wireless router is on a different floor and has to stay there. I want to be able to bring home a laptop (a second computer) and print straight from the laptop on the printer. Can Airport Extreme allow me to do so?
