I've a new Kodak wifi printer, 2 PC laptops & iMac. Will an AirPort Extreme linked to DSL connect them all, easily?
The iMac is running OSX version 10.4.11. And must the printer be wired to the router or will it connect wirelessly too? (It's a Kodak model ESP5250LE.) Please tell me it will be easy to set up.

does airport extreme work with an existing wireless network router
I have an old G4 bowling ball that needs a wireless access. I also have a Linksys wireless router that is working fine and I want to continue using. So can I use extreme as an access point (no direct modem connection) by just leaving the modem port open and plugging the G4 into one of the other ports?

will the Airport Extreme work on an old iMac without an Airport card if I have a usb wireless n adapter?
The Airport Extreme specs say you need Mac OS of 10.5.7 or higher. One of our computers is an old iMac with OS 10.4.11 and it does not have an Airport card installed. If we set up our wireless network at home using the Airport Extreme router, will it work with a USB wireless n adapter in the old iMac? I know it will work with our other two Mac laptops.

Airport Extreme 802.11n requires MacOSX10.5.7 or later. We have Mac 10.4.11. Will it work for us? Brenda
Our Mac 10.4.11 has an airport card that has never been activated. Our latest airport update is 2008001. I notice that a number of other questions ask the same - but there are no answers. (we have a computer not a notebook)
