ATI RADEON HD 2600 XT VIDADPT run Photoshop 6
I'm putting an orig. ATI RADEON HD 2600 XT VIDADPT in my Early 2008 Mac Pro (Video card just blew out I think- but want to make sure spending least amount of $$$). Until getting a card with more VRAM, will I be able to run Photoshop 6 on a 30" Cinema Display?

Will this work in a MacPro 3,1 not replacing but in addition to either the stock Radeon 2600 or the NVIDIA 120 I also currently have installed?
I added the NVIDIA card to use in addition to my stock card in order to run 4 monitors. This works fine unless I try to playback large HD quicktimes in ProTools. I'm looking to replace either my stock card or the NVIDIA card with the Radeon 5770, still using 2 cards for 4 monitors. If I upgrade to 10.6.5 or 10.6.6 will this work?

Can I get the same 1920x1200 (or better) resolution with this card from my 2x 23" HD ACD on my macpro1,1?
From previous questions I see this card will work on MacPro 1,1. I need to run 2 x Apple Cinema 23" HD displays and want them the same resolution? Currently using the ATI Radeon X1900 XT that has 2x dual DVI ports. If an adaptor is needed, do I need the dual or Mini Display port to Dvi adapter?

I'm hoping that OpenCL programming is supported on the ATI Radeon HD 5770/80 on a Mac Pro (4,1 in my case). Anybody have direct experience?
I'm only interested in the cards as compute engines, not really as displays, so a purchase decision here depends on the answer. My code runs fine on the default Nvidia chipset (GeForce GT 120) and on the GT 330 on my Macbook Pro, but the Radeon ought to be able to hit much higher gigaflops ratings....
Anybody gotten, say, the Galaxies openCL demo code running on the Radeon cards?- Asked by Mark M from Friday Harbor

Is it possible to install three ATI Radeon HD 5770 video cards in the Mac Pro 2010 model?
Understand that there may be physical limitations, due to the heat-sink size. Also, a maximum of 24 dynamically allocated PCI-E lanes (quoted elsewhere). If these do not work, then are there other cards that would?
