Will 4TB drives work on Mac Pro?
The drive description in the Apple store for the 2TB drive says Mac Pro "up to 8TB." Is that a true limit or will 4TB drives work as well for up to 16TB installed? Is the limit just what Apple has to sell as 2TB x 4?

First, they does Apple of two of the same items for very different prices. Second, will this fit and work in my old G-5 which is running OS 10.4.
I would think, hardware is hardware and doesn't need to have a specific OS running. It software that needs to be critical, but then again, that's why I'm asking. Thanks.
