do i have to buy the leopard before the snow leopard?

i just got the iphone 4 and it wont let me sync stuff off my computer unless i have the leopard but i was wondering if i can get the snow leopard instead?

OS X Snow Leopard Upgrade for multiple computers.

I have an iMac and a Macbook that need upgrading to Snow Leopard. Do I need to purchase 2 Snow Leopard DVD packages? Is there a family pack available? There is no description of the license requirements for Snow Leopard on the Apple Store page. (In fact, it's difficult to find Snow Leopard in the store at all!)

Can I still buy Leopard for my PowerPC G4?

I would like to upgrade my PowerPC G4 to Leopard (not Snow Leopard, which only supports Intel). I cannot find a reputable source for purchasing the upgrade...does Apple stil make the Tiger --> Leopard upgrade available for the G4 (PowerPC) or am I stuck at Tiger?

I would like to try utilities like Time Machine and iPhoto.

when I click on "purchase", it sends me to the page of the online Apple Store where they sell Mountain Lion. How can I buy Snow Leopard?

By clicking on "purchase this item" I go on the online Apple Store and the only product I see is Mountain Lion. Where can I buy Snow Leopard?
