I have a Dual 2 GHz Power PC G5 - it has been upgraded to 10.5.8 - can I install snow leopard?

I am running 10.5.8 and want to upgrade to Lion in july but i need Snow leopard to download. Can i skip snow leopard and just get Lion?

I have a Mac OS X 10.5.8 version. My processor is 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. Will I be able to upgrade to Mac OS X Snow Leopard?

I don't have the Mac OS X Leopard. But I am considering on upgrading my Mac to the Snow Leopard.

My Imac is Mac OSX Version 10.5.8 Would I benefit by upgrading to Snow Leopard, or have I already got it.

My system does not give the software a "Leopard" name ? just OSX 10.5.8 ?

Also, as an old Windows user, I would like to install Microsoft Word. How cheaply can I achieve this - I presume it's not included with the Snow Leopard upgrade that I am considering ?
