how do i Upgrade to lion from 10.4.11

how do i Upgrade to lion from 10.4.11? is it a two step Upgrade to snow leopard, then lion?

osx 10.4.11

i have imac 5,1 (intel core 2 duo/ osx 10.4.11 tiger / iLife 06' )

how do i upgrade to snow leopard or lion?

and if i do will i loose my iWeb website i created on iLife 06'? i heard the newer versions don't support the older and i wont be able to open them anymore- is this true?

and will i also loose the ability to open/edit any of my Garageband or iMovie files ive created in the 06' version?

Upgrade from 10.4.11 to Snow Leopard

I plan on purchasing the Snow Leopard online to upgrade from mac os x 10.4.11, what else do I need to make this work properly? Do I need to back up my files? Also, I am doing this in order to have boot camp assistant, will the online upgrade do even if I am planning on installing another OS in my laptop?

I have a Mac Mini on 10.4.11 & I need to upgrade to Snow Leopard

It says on Snow Leopard spec that I need 1 gig of Ram and 3 gig of memory.
I have one of the early base models, 1.5GHz, Intel Core Solo, 512MB 667 MHz, will it still be able to handle SL?

Processor: 2 Ghz Intel Core Duo,
Memory: 1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

Will I be able to install Leopard &/or Lion with this computer??

My Mac is 10.4.11, could use the £25 Snow Leopard to erase all the information on the laptop when it upgrades?

I want to start from scratch pretty much, so would it be possible to use the Snow Leopard upgrade to delete everything when it upgrades?

also, will iLife be deleted too?
