(1) Will the upgrade to Snow Leopard work from Panther? (2) Will Final Cut 4 still work on Snow Leopard? I still need it for certain purposes.

I've been running Panther on my old Powerbook specifically because I still need to use Final Cut Pro 4 for certain projects, but I'm finding it difficult to keep my other software up-to-date with such an old OS. Will I still be able to use FCP4 on Snow Leopard? Can I upgrade to Snow Leopard directly from such an old OS as Panther?

Where can I find a list of patches and upgrades that have been applied to snow leopard?

Reading the reviews has led me to believe that the initial launch of snow leopard was full of glitches and problems. I'd like to upgrade to Snow Leopard but AFTER these kinks have been worked out. How can I figure out when Snow Leopard is patched and where can I check this?

Can I really upgrade to Leopard or Snow Leopard for $29 if I don't want iLife? As of today any major issues with Snow Leopard?

I run Neo Office and the kids want to run Spore, FAMPS, and some other stuff only compatible with Windows or OSX 10.5. Will I have compatibility issues with these softwares? Is the upgrade from Tiger to Leopard without iLife really only $29?

OS X Snow Leopard Upgrade for multiple computers.

I have an iMac and a Macbook that need upgrading to Snow Leopard. Do I need to purchase 2 Snow Leopard DVD packages? Is there a family pack available? There is no description of the license requirements for Snow Leopard on the Apple Store page. (In fact, it's difficult to find Snow Leopard in the store at all!)

At the time we purchased our iMac with Leopard we were told we would be able to purchase the Snow Leopard upgrade for $9.99. It has been a bit over a year since we bought the iMac. Is it too late to pay the discounted rate to get Snow leopard. If not, how do I find that rate (I have been unable to find it in the Apple store). Thank you.
