What exact version is Snow Leopard 10.6 sold as DVD installation disk here
You cannot install Snow Leopard 10.6.3 on Lion Machine. Therefore, the disk you buy here as Snow Leopard 10.6, is it the latest 10.6.8 or 10.6.3?

Does this OS X DVD now come with the 10.6.3 update preloaded or will I still have to run software update?
Or in other words, is 10.6.3 now part of the sold disk copies or is this an update much like 10.6.1 and 2 that are smaller and not actually in the sold copies yet?

Is the Snow Leopard installation disc 10.6.3 or 10.6.8?
I recently bought a Mac OS X Snow Leopard installation disc and they say that it runs 10.6.3. My computer runs Mac OS X 10.6.8. If I used this disc on the computer, will it affect the operating systems negatively at all? Or will it work with no problems?

OS X Snow Leopard Upgrade for multiple computers.
I have an iMac and a Macbook that need upgrading to Snow Leopard. Do I need to purchase 2 Snow Leopard DVD packages? Is there a family pack available? There is no description of the license requirements for Snow Leopard on the Apple Store page. (In fact, it's difficult to find Snow Leopard in the store at all!)
