I Have a mid 2011 iMac with OS X version 10.8.2 and want to purchase Microsoft office for Mac. Do I need to purchase Snow Leopard as well

I am purchasing a mac mini and have a mac book already with tiger on it. I want to upgrade my macbook to snow leopard.

will i b able to use the software from the mac mini to upgrade my mac book as well or do i need to purchase another copy of snow leopard

OS X Snow Leopard Upgrade for multiple computers.

I have an iMac and a Macbook that need upgrading to Snow Leopard. Do I need to purchase 2 Snow Leopard DVD packages? Is there a family pack available? There is no description of the license requirements for Snow Leopard on the Apple Store page. (In fact, it's difficult to find Snow Leopard in the store at all!)

Do I have to purchase both Snow Leopard and Lion or can I just purchase Lion?

I have acquired a mac w/out a hard drive, no disks, etc. I need to purchase an OS to install on it. Can I just purchase Lion (10.7) or do I have to purchase both Snow Leopard (10.6) and then also purchase Lion (10.7)?

Can I use this version of Snow Leopard to downgrade from OS X Lion?

I bought a refurbished 2008 Macbook that came pre-installed with OS X Lion. My old Mac Mini (just sold it) ran Snow Leopard (10.6). Now, some of my apps (PowerPC) and other functions are gone and I desperately need them back.

Can I use this disc to "erase & install" Snow Leopard without a previous version of Mac OS X? Thanks.
