Does this cable work using ipad3? I am interested as some comments have said it works with pad2, but not on iPad 3.

Can I do Mirroring with this on my iPad 3 with 3rd party applications?

My iPad 3RD generation with 4G, is my school purposed item and I occasionally have presentations on this. I wanted to see if I can hook up a projector with this adapter and show my presentations from applications like "Pages" or "Keynote" and so forth. I will not be playing any videos from itunes. how long is this cable

Unless I'm looking at this cable adapter in the wrong way, I feel it may be difficult to hook up my iPad to my TV when the cable is so short?

It looks like about 2-3 inches? Why so short?

My TV connection is middle/top of the left side of my LCD Samsung 52" and I have no where to put my iPad to make this connection using this short adapater?

Why is this so?

Does it work with ABC Player?

I have an Apple Composite AV cable that works with video. Looking for something that will play video from the ABC Player. The Composite cable doesn't.

Does using the VGA cable reduce the battery life on the iPad?

Unlike the HDMI cable, this cable does not offer the possibility to charge the iPad while connected to a VGA display. Does driving the VGA display use power from the iPad? If so, by how much is the battery life reduced? In other words, what's the time limit on a presentation, for example?

Will the Apple 30 pin-to-VGA adapter work for sound (IPAD to BOSE) ?? The cable descr only references video movies & images.

Had classic IPOD. Now have IPAD2 and wish to connect to my BOSE for music. Like the 30-pin to VGA adapter, if it works, over setting in adapter "stand" and subject to mishap.

Is that image of this cable just photoshopped, or is it actually just 3 inches or so? Please tell me it's really at least a few feet...

Will it work with iPhone4 FaceTime?

I'm thinking about using the iPhone4 and FaceTime for inexpensive video conferencing at work. Just buy two of these adapters and people would be able to communicate with one another.

Does this cable work with the iBooks app, to display or PDF files there? This was asked earlier, but the answers addressed PDFs in different apps.
