how do you connect the iPad to a TV to watch movies?

I want to be able to watch tv and movies on the iPad but also be able to play them on my TV as well. I see a lot of things I can't do with this connector. Is there a way to do this with something else?

where does thw sound come out from the ipad or a tv when a movie is being projected???

when you connect the vga adapter to a cable which connects to the tv when a movie is being projected where does the sound come out from the ipad or the tv??? if it comes out from the ipad how can i change it so it will come out from the tv???

What cable do I need to purchase to stream netflix from my iPhone4s and watch on a pc?

We have Netflix and would like to be able to watch movies via our Netflix app on our iPhone4s on our laptop. There is a specific place we want to use this feature, but Wi-Fi connections don't exist....so we rely on our phones internet connection to watch netflix movies. What type of cable do we need to make this happen?

Can I use the "Apple VGA Adapter" or the "Apple Composite AV Cable" to connect my iPad 2 to my projector (Epson PowerLite Presenter L)?

The Epson PowerLite Presenter L has the VGA port and the composite video and red/white analog audio ports. Wich one would be better to connect my iPad 2 to this projector? The "Apple VGA Adapter" or the "Apple Composite AV Cable"? Thanks!

Will the Apple 30 pin-to-VGA adapter work for sound (IPAD to BOSE) ?? The cable descr only references video movies & images.

Had classic IPOD. Now have IPAD2 and wish to connect to my BOSE for music. Like the 30-pin to VGA adapter, if it works, over setting in adapter "stand" and subject to mishap.

Can you watch downloaded films on the tv from iPad

I want to purchase the lead that does this but having read the reviews they are saying you can't watch films downloaded from iTunes . This is the whole point of the lead I would have thought. How do I do this is the lead doesn't work.

Does using the VGA cable reduce the battery life on the iPad?

Unlike the HDMI cable, this cable does not offer the possibility to charge the iPad while connected to a VGA display. Does driving the VGA display use power from the iPad? If so, by how much is the battery life reduced? In other words, what's the time limit on a presentation, for example?

Do I need an iPod dock to Use VGA adopter on a projector?

I got my VGA adopter from Apple Store and tried using it with the Projector so I can view my iMovies. How will I go about it? Do I really need an iPad dock to connect to the VGA adopter, to the VGA cable to the projector? Thanks
