Are there wireless connections for mac to lcd projection?

I am a high school teacher and apple enthusiast, I am in love with Ipad ( Thanks for that ). My problem is projection using my LCD projector with these marvelous products . I want to do it wirelessly. There are 2 questions I would like to ask ;

1. Is there an app that works wirelessly with the Ipad macbook, pro and the projector syncing them together under the control of the Ipad?,If possible, this marvelous invention would allow me to peruse while supervising my energetic students and still dynamically teach. The apple remote is an option I use , but is so limited.

2.Are there further upgrades for the first IPad? ( I feel cheated LOL) If not what about trade in's?

can i display the sketchbook app using the projecter using the Apple ipad dock connecter to VGA adepter from the ipad?

With this adapter will it project pages onto a apple cinema display?

I'm thinking of replacing an iPad as my computer but if i connect my Apple Cinema Display to the iPad and open pages will the words I'm typing show up on my cinema display??

VGA Adapter to Project the "Watch ESPN" App?

My non-apple product vga adapter projects existing pictures and videos from both my i-phone 3 and 4. However, I cannot get it to project espn. Will any adapter work or is there some "block" from Apple or even the App developer? Thanks.
