I've noticed with some rechargeable batteries (Sanyo especially) they run at 1.2v, is that the case with these or are they at the normal 1.5v?

How long do the batteries last on a full charge cycle, and what is the starting percentage… with the Magic Mouse? with the Apple Bluetooth Keyboard?
I'm not sure why Apple pulled my question a few days ago. There was no profanity and it was respectfully commented on one time.
My question might help sway many of the recent negative reviews.
Whenever I've used 2200 mAh Energizer batteries in my Magic Mouse, the percentage has always started at 76% or lower, and never consistent. I was informed rechargeables are only 1.2v compared to regular alkaline which are 1.5v. Perhaps, the software meter in OS X may not be taking the lower voltage into consideration?
The NiMh Energizer batteries in conjunction with the Energizer 15-min charger I own are AWFUL. They only last 3 to 5 days depending on a bunch of variables. I would like to know, BASED ON EXPERIENCE, how long these Apple batteries last on a full cycle using their charger. I don't think anyone wants to buy another dud no matter what statistics tell us.- Asked by Scott K from Westwood

Do these batteries use the Sanyo eneloop technology? Also, how many mAh do these have?
I'm curious if they can retain a charge without draining. the Eneloop batteries come pre-charged and don't lose their charge over time if left idle. Just wondering what Apple is using. ( Eneloop batteries usually have a white cap on top around the contact )

Are there any other markings on the batteries besides the 'Rechargable' and '+/-'?
In the picture the batteries always seem to be showing the same side. Just wondering if there is any fine print on the other side or if they are as streamlined and beautifully simple as they look.

does a normal battery charger work just as well?
i'm going to buy a imac soon and i want to know everything first, because the magic mouse and wireless keyboard are battery powered so i was wondering if the batteries used matter, same with the charger.

Can I charge one battery at a time?
My Apple Keyboard takes 3 AA batteries. With the charger I'm currently using I have to charge batteries in pairs. It's a bad idea to charge a full battery with a dead battery so I've developed an annoying system. However if I can charge one battery at a time with this charger then I'll buy it! I could charge the 2 then the 1 extra...

How long do the batteries last once charged?
Say I charge one set for spare when one set runs out. how long do they last just sitting around?
Or is it best to leave them flat and start charging when the battery in my item (keyboard/mouse) gets to 10% etc? then swap over and leave the old batteries until the next item goes flat- Asked by Aaron S from Auckland

What is the starting battery life percentage with a Magic Mouse? Apple BT Keyboard?
I have 2200 Energizer batteries (that were charged by a pure garbage 15-min Energizer recharger) in my Magic Mouse. When fully charged and cooled down 3 hrs later, the percentage starts from approx. 72%, not 100%. Do Apple's batteries start out at less than 100%? One reviewer mentioned the BT keyboard started at 81%.

When using these batteries with a Magic Mouse or an Apple Keyboard, does the mac correctly identify the percentage of charge left in them?
I'm asking because I have other batteries of this kind, from another brand, and the percentage is always inconsistent. It always begins at 80%, and then when it gets close to 40% or 30% the batteries die suddenly. I'm thinking the reason for this is that these rechargable batteries have a 1.2 voltage while the magic mouse needs 1.5. Is the percentage of charge left more accurate with these batteries?
