I have a PowerBook G4 from 2005, and the wire from power adaptor damaged.
I want to buy a new power adaptor but my Mac because is an old one haw a different power adaptor

What is the best replacement for the power cord for a PowerBook G4. The old one was A1021 65W

I would prefer to have a long power cord that plugs into the wall, then to the transformer rather than plug the transformer into the wall. Looks like the replacement you recommend is 85W and does not have a cord.

I saw an OEM comp version of the mag safe adapter. Has anyone tried it and if it works well for a Powerbook G4 15" since mine crackles & sparks.
