I am going to the Philippines and I'm using this charger for my Macbook Pro. Can I just plug it in there directly? They use 220V and 60Hz there.

Can I use the same power adapter all over the world for all voltages and both 50 and 60 Hz frequency?

Frequency: The power adapter that came with my Macbook Pro in the USA stopped working while using it in Japan where the power is 100 V 50 Hz. I noticed it got really hot when I used it in Japan. I had to buy a new one in Tokyo, and this one doesn't seem to get nearly as hot when I'm using it in Japan. I am wondering if I need 2 different power adapters for the 2 different countries.

Warranty: Or maybe I had a defective power adapter from the start? It is less than a year old. Can I get it replaced under warranty?

will the 85w Mag Safe Power Adapter for the Mac book Pro work in Berlin or do I need a power converter

I'm going to Berlin and Milan with my 15" Mac Book Pro. Will I need a converter or

Apple 45W MagSafe Power adaptor states 110-240V, the plug itself states 125V. Is it safe to plug into 220V socket? Is power converter needed?

The cord's plug also states 125V.

different models of macbook pro charger

does anyone know if there is a difference between the different models of macbook pro chargers? my current charger model is A1344. does it matter if i use a different model, say A1330, to charge my macbook pro 13"?

I need a new charger for my 15' macbook pro.

It is a little over a year old. I also purchased, what turned out to be a knock off a few months ago from amazon for 15 dollars. Mistake, the think lasted for about one week. I use my macbook fairly often, and would like the charger to last more than 15 months if possible. Still I am hesitant to purchase an 80 dollar charger. Is this my best option? Out of the 100 or so reviews I have read, I have only found about 4 or 5 positive reviews. Any help would be appreciated.
