Where do I find the old style Mac Book Pro Charger for a Mac Book Pro purchased in 2009?

The connector is different in the old chargers than in the new ones. My daughter bought an off brand, and it blew up! We want to buy her a bonafide apple product, but we are not sure where to find it.

So 85 watt charger will not harm the Mac Book Air? I would not want to have to toss them out now that I have moved from Pro to Air models.

I am taking my Mac Book Pro to Vietnam and Thailand. Is the power cord that comes with the computer dual voltage? Do I need anything else to connect?

Need just the 2 prong tip for 85w MagSafe Power Supply for Mac Book Pro 15 Inch 3 years old

I was at the apple store in Santa Barbara, California and told them that every time i unplug the 85w MagSafe adapter one of the prongs stays in the power strip. It comes out of the power brick. The store tech told me they do not sell the part in the store but online. I cannot find it?

I need a new charger for my 15' macbook pro.

It is a little over a year old. I also purchased, what turned out to be a knock off a few months ago from amazon for 15 dollars. Mistake, the think lasted for about one week. I use my macbook fairly often, and would like the charger to last more than 15 months if possible. Still I am hesitant to purchase an 80 dollar charger. Is this my best option? Out of the 100 or so reviews I have read, I have only found about 4 or 5 positive reviews. Any help would be appreciated.

i bought a mac pro in the us last week have the travel adapter but would like to now if i can use something more permanent.
