Would this work with my iMac OS X version 10.5.8?

I would like to purchase the MagicTrack in order to control my desktop display on my TV screen.

Do the multi-touch features of the Magic Trackpad work on older iMac 24/SD models? I have purchased iMac Dec. 2007, that was Mac OSX 10.5.8 at time?

Sales person sold Magic trackpad to me yesterday, but I am not able to see my iMac have anyway to make this work, please advise?

I seem to need 10.6.4 to use the magic trackpad I bought.

Can I upgrade my operating system from 10.5.8 to 10.6.4 on my imac get the trackpad to wrok

I have an Imac 8.1 with bluetooth and intel core 2 duo. Will 10.6.4 work on my computer so I can get the magic trackpad?

are you able to invert the x and y axis's?

i have a black macbook.
im wondering if it would be possible to change the settings so that i can use the pad in a different way..

i would like to be able to use it but placing it over the top of my current track pad. i see this being easiest by turning the pad around so the battery rail is closest to the user and the (bottom) of the pad is almost touching the spacebar..
i also believe this would keep the track pad more level.

if after awhile will it heat up and be uncomfortable to use because some windows do
