Will this control an iMac when I'm facing the back of the computer?

I have an iMac between the living room and kitchen and when I am in the kitchen, I am facing the back of the iMac. I'd like to control the music with a remote. So...if I am facing the back of an iMac and use the remote, will it still control the computer?

Can I use the remote with my iPhone docked in other docks, like in the Bose radio or the XM Skydock?

After reading the description in the Apple Store, I was just wondering if the remote could control my iPhone when it is docked in my Bose radio or even in my XM Skydock. It would make using the iPhone from across the room a whole lot easier.

Is there a remote for the iPhone 4s, iPad2, and Mac that controls the camera for taking pictures?

I used to own a digital camera that came with a remote control to be able to take pictures of yourself or you with a group of people without having to depend on a quick timer. I was really hoping to find one like that for the iPad2 camera and even the iPhone 4s. I would like to be able to setup my iPad or iPhone in the room, then find the right position to stand and the right pose, and then be able to push a button on the remote to actually take the picture. Does Apple have any kind of remote that will do this?

Will it work with a late 2011 MacBook Pro running Mountain Lion?

I want to use this as a remote control when I'm streaming video (movies etc) onto the MacBook and then onto the TV, to pause, rewind etc (as a remote for the MacBook, not the TV, obviously!)
