Will this Apple remote work with Windows 7?

I use MacBook Pro with duel OS, one for Mac OS and one for Windows 7 using BootCamp. The Apple Remote can properly work on Mac OS but not on Windows 7. Is there any solution to let it work?

Will it work with PowerPoint 2010 for presentations in MB (Late 2008) unibody with bootcamp?

I have a MB 13" (Late 2008) unibody with bootcamp and Windows 7, and i need to know if Apple Remote will work with PowerPoint 2010 for presentations over my BootCamp Windows 7.

Hi All!,
As OS/X Lion doesn't feature FrontRow - does anyone know whether the Apple Remote will work with Plex?
(or recommend a good media player that will!)

Do you have to have a Mac computer to use the remote?

I wanted to get the Apple Remote for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift. He has an iHome, an iPod, and an iPhone, but he does not have a Mac computer. Will the remote work on the apple devices he has if he does not have a Mac?

does this have the same problem lack of exclusive mode issue in Snow Leopard with non iTunes applications (Logic-VLC-Sofacontrol-etc) as the old one?

Currently Snow leopard isn't allowing for use of the remote in anything other than itunes or quicktime x. Using it outside those applications launches itunes.
