will this work on a macbook pro 13"

I already have an apple remote for my existing macbook 13" (Bought Feb 08)
I will be ordering a new macbook pro soon, can I use my existing remote or will I need another one? especially since I won't be using them at the same time!

Is the Apple remote compatable with the new (2011) Macbook Pro 13"

I've read lotsof conflicting articles about the compatability of the remote with the new Macbok Pro- can someone confirm if it works or not.
