Will this IpAd dock work with my IpOd dock REMOTE?? Connecting and watching movies is a pain as you have to get up to pause/ rewind/ etc..

I bought new dock for new ipad 2.
But it is not charging when connected to mains with iPad on dock.
Should I return it ?

Can you use the iPad Dock when the iPad is in the Smart Case?
I had to physically trim away excess material from my original iPad case in order to use the dock. I'd hate to have to do that to the new Smart Case.
(And by the way, once the iPad is fitted into the Smart Case, it actually requires significant effort to remove it. It's very well designed and manufactured.)- Asked by John V from Fort Worth
