Can you plug in the MacBook Air Superdrive to one of the USB ports?

I would still like to use my SuperDrive if possible.

How do you connect two (2) 2011 27" LED Cinema Displays to an early 2011 17" MacBook Pro? Each display has MagSafe, Mini DisplayPort, and USB 2.0.

Can it work with a 15" MacBook Pro (mid 2008) without a mini Display Port?

I have a 15" Mac Book Pro, and would like to know if there is an adapter available to connect my MBP to one of the new Apple Cinema displays that now require a mini Display port. My MacBook Pro does not have a mini Display port. Thanks

How long is the cable and am I tied to using the one that comes supplied?

I want to have the monitor on my desk buy the laptop will be housed in a unit to the side. The cable-run will be about 3-4m. For USB, I guess I can use an active extension cable but not sure if this is possible for the display port.

how to activate usb ports on 27" cinema display

I tried to attach keyboard and trackball to the usb ports on the back of the display, but they don't work. The display is hooked up to a miniport on a Mac Pro purchased in September 2010.
