What type of cable is needed to connect my iPod shuffle 3G to my car (2010 Corolla) stereo system

My sons gave me an iPod shuffle 2 GB 3G when I purchased my new 2010 Corolla. How can I connect my iPod shuffle to the car stereo system. I tried conneting the USB cable which came with the iPod to the USB port in the car stereo but the system would not recognise it. What kind of cable do I need and where can I get it?

I need to connect my ipod touch to the car aux jack. Would the ipod shuffle usb cable work for this?

I have the current ipod touch and want to connect it to the car aux jack to listen to it on our trip to france.

what cable do i need to plug my ipod touch into a stereo

i am haveing a birthday party and i want to make a playlist on my ipod touch and play it through the speakers through the pools sound system but they have their sound system linke through a radio so i need a cable that hooks my ipod touch to this radio!
