Can I just use a cheater plug, instead?
My wife is going to Japan soon. We have a U.S. 3-prong to 2-prong adapter already. Her house uses a 2-prong plug, just like older houses in the U.S. Can we just use that "cheater plug"? Or, is there something special about the Apple adapter?

Can I use the plug adapters with my iPad charger?
The iPod charger that comes with the World Travel Kit has normal iPod specs (Input: 100-240V 0.15A 50-60Hz Output: 5V 1A). I am going to Spain and had planned on using this kit with my iPod Touch, but I just got an iPad and noticed that it's charger is a little different (Input 100-240V 0.45A 50-60Hz Output: 5.1V 2.3A). Can I just snap the plug adapters from this kit into my iPad charger and have it work ok? I don't want to accidentally fry my iPad or have it not charge at all!

Why do I have to buy a kit for the whole world when I only want the European plug?
Why do I have to pay $40 for a world travel kit when I only need one European plug? I should be able to buy just the one plug that I actually need.

Are the AC plug adaptors the kind that fit ONTO the mag safe through that double plastic prong bit? Or are they just reg. adaptors that are white?
My boyfriend has a 13 inch mac book pro which he bought in the US but has just moved to the UK. So, while he could easily just use a US to UK adaptor each time he plugs his mag safe into the wall, I'd rather have the mag safe have a UK end already. My question regarding this kit is: are 6 AC plug adaptors included in the kit just regular adaptor that you could buy at Radio Shack or any travel store or are they specifically designed to fit onto the mag safe using the 2 prong slip on? I can't tell by the description or the pictures on the box since the picture implies you get an entire mag safe adaptor with US end in the box. I'm pretty sure however the tech specs say you don't.

Will this work in Ireland to charge my iPhone? Do I really need it or just an adapter plug? Will the iphone charger take up to 240 volts?
Motorola phones say on the charger 110-240V, but I cannot read the silver print on the iPhone charger. I know I need an adaptor plug for Ireland, but I don't know if I need a voltage converter as well. If someone can read the charger for iPhone 3GS for me, that would be helpful.

Can this be used with non-Apple items (e.g. power cord/charger for a Dell laptop)? I would prefer to just have one set of adapters.
Most power chargers for items already handle multi-voltage -- so my assumption is that I just need something that will convert the existing plug on it to the necessary configuration (e.g. for UK, or for Spain, etc).
