What's in the box?
I've got a 15" macbook that I'll be taking to the UK. The US power cord gives you two options: plug in the cord that leads to the power box, or use the little collapsible two-prong piece to plug the power box directly into the wall.
Would the UK adaptor piece fit directly into the white box (meaning the white box would be directly plugged into the wall), or would it be at the end of a cord that fits into the box? Or would I have the option? Thanks.- Asked by Travis W from Telluride

World Travel Adapt Kit says works on Continental Europe. Does kit have correct Iceland plugs? (I.E. WA-9C Type-C 7/16 Euro) & (WA-9 Type-F 7/7 Schuko)
It would be easier if there were more detailed specifications listed on the Apple website listing the actual plug "Types" included in the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit box.

What if you need many adapters of just one country?
The World Travel adapter kit is useful if you travel a lot, of course.
But what about when you MOVE from one country to another, and need to swap all your apple products adapters? I recently moved from Singapore to Korea, which use different adapters. I have six apple products (2 iPhones, 2 MBPs, 2 Airport Express). It's such a waste to have to buy six World Travel kits just to get my six Korean adapters, and the rest of the adapters (5 unused adapters x 6 kits = 30!) are basically wasted... this feels like over consumption and a waste to the environment for me...
Does Apple or anyone else sell the individual adapters so I only need to buy what I really need?- Asked by June J from San Francisco

Can I use the plug adapters with my iPad charger?
The iPod charger that comes with the World Travel Kit has normal iPod specs (Input: 100-240V 0.15A 50-60Hz Output: 5V 1A). I am going to Spain and had planned on using this kit with my iPod Touch, but I just got an iPad and noticed that it's charger is a little different (Input 100-240V 0.45A 50-60Hz Output: 5.1V 2.3A). Can I just snap the plug adapters from this kit into my iPad charger and have it work ok? I don't want to accidentally fry my iPad or have it not charge at all!
