is it possible to return/exchange the mighty mouse that came with my computer if using it causes me chronic wrist/hand pain?
Many users (particularly on Mac forums, but even in the reviews of the mouse) are complaining that the design isn't very ergonomic. From using the one that came with my new iMac (purchased January 2013), I've found that I'm experiencing chronic pains in my wrist and hand, often hours or days after I've stopped using it... say on a weekend off from the office or something along those lines. I'm wondering if there is an official Apple policy to address this problem. Is it possible to exchange the mighty mouse for a track pad or a different mouse solution? I definitely cannot go on using what I've got now.

Does it work well with Mac Pros? I had problems with old mic and interference with the metal body.
I used to have a wireless Mighty Mouse and it didn't work well with my Mac Pro. It has bluetooth in it, but it always lost connection. Had to settle for a wired mouse. Been using wired for the past several years, but would like to have a wireless now.

Can you place the palm of your hand on the mouse without affecting the multi-touch ability?
Is there an option, or does it pick it up automatically, that you may use a mouse with the palm of your hand gently resting on its back? Or do we have to only grip it with our fingertips, palm of hand hovering slightly over the mouse, with the tips of our fingers the only things allowed to touch the surface?
