How does the tracking and responsiveness compare to the wired apple mouse for Photoshop use?
In the past, all wired pointing devices have been more accurate and responsive.
In Adobe Photoshop for example: Tracing an outline or painting while zoomed in requires excellent accuracy and responsiveness. Will the apple magic mouse match its wired counterpart?- Asked by Ovando A from Fontana

Does magic mouse have an opening underneath for the laser or is it sealed?
Does magic mouse have an opening underneath for the laser or is it sealed (lens or cover)? I have a logitech laser mouse where there is an open hole beneath to permit the laser to shine out, but the problem is that dog hair is constantly getting inside that hole, such that I have to pick it out with tweezers a few times a week. Each time a hair gets in there the mouse starts acting crazy, and when several hairs get in there its impossible to use the mouse at all.

Is the magic mouse as accurate as a wired mouse?
Hi,
Is the new Magic Mouse as accurate as a wired mouse?
I work on an 8 Core Mac Pro on two ACD 30"s in CS4 and FCPro and find the previous wireless mouse is too sloppy and slow to use in detailed work. But I would love this new one if it is a fast and as accurate as the wired mouse that Apple ship.
Thanks.

Can the Magic Mouse be used with a aluminum mouse surface (Razer ExactMat) without signal interference?
I currently use a usb corded Razer Diamondback optical mouse on a Razer Exactmat Rubber coated aluminum mouse surface. I've been using this setup because I wanted a higher accuracy, and most usb cordless mice interfered with the aluminum surface. I would see sparratic mouse movement. I use a early 2008 iMac with blue tooth, but don't have another blue tooth enabled mouse I can test with.

How good is the magic mouse's latency?
Every bluetooth mouse I have used in the past (both on OS X and Windows) had an annoyingly long latency. In other words, there's a small (but noticeable) delay between moving your mouse and seeing the cursor move, which gives the feeling that the cursor is struggling to keep up. I am wondering how good this mouse is in this respect.

Can the Magic Mouse track without the need of a mat on a wooden desk?
I have a wired Mighty Mouse (which is an Optical Mouse) and I have to use a mousemat in order to use this mouse on my wooden desk. Can the Magic Mouse track on a wooden desk? A mousemat is too big to fit on the keyboard shelf when I slide the shelf away, so being able to do away with the mat would be great!
