Installing the Logic 9 update on a new mac that currently doesn't have Logic installed

I've order a new 27 inch iMac Quad and need to know if I purchase the Logic 9 update can I install it using my Logic 7 dongle. This machine will not have any previous version of Logic on it so can I do this>

I just bought Logic express 9 for $188 at Amazon.

Is an upgrade to Logic Studio the same price from Logic express 9 as from Logic Express?$299?

Can I upgrade my Logic Pro 7 with this Upgrade? Will this upgrade work on my IMac 10.4? If not can I upgrade my computer without having to buy a new1?

I would love to upgrade my Logic Pro 7 on my Imac 10.4. I can see that you need at least 10.5 for this upgrade.

Is there anyway I can upgrade from 10.4 without actually having to buy a new computer?

Will this Logic upgrade, upgrade my Logic Pro 7?

I have the last version Logic Studio (Logic Pro 8). What upgrade do I buy to get the new version (Logic Pro 9)? Is this $199 upgrade the right one?

I just want to upgrade from Logic Studio 8 to Logic Studio 9. I have the full version (not Express) of Logic Studio with Logic Pro 8, and I want to buy Logic Studio with Logic Pro 9. Is this $199 "Logic Studio - Upgrade from Logic Pro or Logic Studio" product what I should buy? Also, I would like to know if I'm missing out on anything by getting the upgrade instead of the full version. In other words, does the upgrade still come with all the same books and manuals for Logic Studio 9 that the full version would come with? Thank you very much for your help.

Do I need to install my previous logic 7, and 8 to install Logic Studio 9 upgrade on a new main hard drive?

Will all the sound files and loops install completely and properly.
