can i transfer my songs & audio files from logic pro 7 into logic studio?
Hey People, Im currently running Logic Pro 7 on my mid 2007 white Macbook with an Apogee Duet interface but will be buying a new 15" Macbook Pro within the next few weeks.
Firstly will Logic Pro 7 run on the new June 2012 Macbook Pros?
Secondly I was probably going to buy Logic Studio along with the new Macbook Pro so in that case can & transfer my songs, audio & midi files from Logic 7 into Logic Studio.......is this possible & is it an easy process?
Also will I have any trouble using my Apogee Duet with the new Macbook Pro?

Do I need Logic Pro or Logic Studio?
Hello,
So I am new to music production. I have a MacBook Pro and I am looking for a good DAW to use. I want to get Logic since it is made by Apple and should work flawlessly on my MacBook Pro. If I just want to make Hip Hop beats on my MacBook Pro, would I need to get Logic Studio or would Logic Pro be fine to use? how does the copy protect work on logic studio?
I am thinking of changing from Cubase and wondered how the copy protect worked. Is it similar to Cubase with a dongle or what?

Saving files from Logic Express when upgrading to Logic Studio...
Within the next few weeks I will be upgrading from Logic Express 9 to the Logic Studio package. I'm enquiring to whether I can be able to save and open the files from Logic Express when upgraded, so work can be continued on Studio? If not, are there any ways or alternatives around this?

Logic Pro 7 to Logic Studio 9?
hello ... just ask if i can upgrade from Logic Pro 7 to Logic studio 9. i recently bought a new iMac and installed Logic Pro 7 on it ... it won't open. If i install the L9 upgrade, will it then work and function properly?

i use Mbox2 as my interface, but found all DAWs worked sluggishly. Finally got Mbox working with PT8 + Logic 8. How can I improve performance
I was formally using Logic 8 with Tiger on a Macbook with Mbox2. Switched to an iMac with Snow - and couldn't get it working until recently now that I upgraded to Pro Tools 8.

I have Logic Studio 8, just got Logic Studio 9 upgrade. Can I give away my Logic 8 or do I need it to install 9 upgrade?
Will the Logic 8 that I give away work for someone else or does it share the same Serial Number as the Upgrade? I plan to give the copy to a family member if that makes a diff.
