Please Help! I have a 2007 MacBookPro with Pro Tools LE, some Native Instruments stuff and of course lots of purchased iTunes music inside. If I get
Snow Leopard and the new Logic Pro music studio, can all I have presently on this OSX Tiger 10.4 setup be exported to an external hard drive temporarily, then imported back into the Snow Leopard setup, or what all will this switcharoo entail? ( I didn't grow-up with computers, sorry I'm Mr. Compumoron here. Any info would be GREATLY appreciated!;)
p.s. does the Logic Pro utilize a hardware interface like P.T. does, so you can use lo-impedance microphones and 3rd party mic preamps, etc.? Thanks, So Much!

Can I plug a keyboard into my Mac and have whatever I play be written into sheet music?
Im thinking about purchasing Logic or Finale 2010. I'm a composer and ultimately I would like to purchase Logic. I'm looking to plug in my keyboard and have whatever I play be written into Manuscript instead of having to go in and write it all out, is that possible on Logic?

If you install Logic Studio on a macbook and then later buy macbook pro can you unistall the program and re-install the program on newer laptop?
I want to confirm this would be legal under the license agreement. The program is being un-installed from 1 laptop and being put on a newer laptop purchased by the same owner.

I didn't install my old Logic Pro 6 software on my new MacBook Pro. Do I have to install it first to do the "upgrade" to Logic Studio?
I'd like to purchase the "upgrade" from Logic Pro 6 to Logic Studio. I don't have my old Logic 6 software installed on my new MacBook Pro, do I have to install the old Logic Pro 6 version first before running the upgrade to Logic Studio? Or is the Logic Studio upgrade a complete install on its own?

Logic Express 8 the came with laptop: NFR?
I bought Logic Express 8 With a purchase of a new laptop (it came in the optional bundle, with Applecare, extra memory, etc.) I had it preinstalled, and have a backup DVD with Serial Number, and a DVD of Demo content. I am interested in upgrading to Logic Studio 9, but I'm not sure if the Logic Express 8 I had preinstalled is considered a NFR (not for resale). It doesn't say anything on the disc. So I was wondering if the upgrade would work?
