How does Logic 7 compare to Logic 9?

I am a current user of Logic 7. I had originally purchased this program for the purposes of film scoring. Prior to having a mac book pro, I used Sonar in Windows. I've had alot of issues with Logic 7 in terms of recording my own material. It randomly deletes lso files~ different tracks are randomly at different volumes... i could go on and on- the biggest drag though is, when I do have a problem, 7 is outdated, and it's difficult to resolve issues. The biggest issue has been saving projects, lso's etc. to an external hard drive- if I move it or save it- it erases the aiff and i have to manually search for it... if it's there at all!!! If anyone has any input I would be very grateful. Christine Hagan

Will my logic Pro 9 be compatible with a digidesign control 24 (08 model)?

I would like to use an 08 model digidesign control 24 with my logic pro 9. The web sight and my software itself claims to support all manor of mixers, but I have read different things online.

Anyone been able to do this?

Do I need Logic Pro or Logic Studio?

Hello,

So I am new to music production. I have a MacBook Pro and I am looking for a good DAW to use. I want to get Logic since it is made by Apple and should work flawlessly on my MacBook Pro. If I just want to make Hip Hop beats on my MacBook Pro, would I need to get Logic Studio or would Logic Pro be fine to use? What would Logic Studio do that Logic Pro would not be able to do?

Is an upgrade to Logic Studio the same price from Logic express 9 as from Logic Express?

I just bought Logic express 9 for $188 at Amazon.

Is an upgrade to Logic Studio the same price from Logic express 9 as from Logic Express?$299?

I was told by a rep at my local apple store where I just purchased my new iMac that logic studio is now called logic pro. Is this true?

can i upgrade to Logic Studio 9 from logic express 8

I have Logic Express 8, and would like to upgrade to the full Pro version of Logic 9. Can you do this or do I need to upgrade to Logic Express 9 and then upgrade Logic Studio 9 ?

Logic Pro 7 to Logic Studio 9?

hello ... just ask if i can upgrade from Logic Pro 7 to Logic studio 9. i recently bought a new iMac and installed Logic Pro 7 on it ... it won't open. If i install the L9 upgrade, will it then work and function properly?
