Is Logic Studio 9 Snow Leopard ready?

Is Logic Studio 9 Snow Leopard ready or is there a post installation update?

Please Help! I have a 2007 MacBookPro with Pro Tools LE, some Native Instruments stuff and of course lots of purchased iTunes music inside. If I get

Snow Leopard and the new Logic Pro music studio, can all I have presently on this OSX Tiger 10.4 setup be exported to an external hard drive temporarily, then imported back into the Snow Leopard setup, or what all will this switcharoo entail? ( I didn't grow-up with computers, sorry I'm Mr. Compumoron here. Any info would be GREATLY appreciated!;)
p.s. does the Logic Pro utilize a hardware interface like P.T. does, so you can use lo-impedance microphones and 3rd party mic preamps, etc.? Thanks, So Much!

How does Logic 7 compare to Logic 9?

I am a current user of Logic 7. I had originally purchased this program for the purposes of film scoring. Prior to having a mac book pro, I used Sonar in Windows. I've had alot of issues with Logic 7 in terms of recording my own material. It randomly deletes lso files~ different tracks are randomly at different volumes... i could go on and on- the biggest drag though is, when I do have a problem, 7 is outdated, and it's difficult to resolve issues. The biggest issue has been saving projects, lso's etc. to an external hard drive- if I move it or save it- it erases the aiff and i have to manually search for it... if it's there at all!!! If anyone has any input I would be very grateful. Christine Hagan

How do the processing demands of Logic Pro 9 compare to those of Digital Performer 8? Is Logic more efficient in concrete, measurable terms?

I've been using DP for years, but since installing version 8 I've noticed that my eight core Mac Pro is sometimes hitting the wall on CPU with as few as 12 tracks (6 live + 6 virtual instruments) and 3 or 4 plug-ins. This is new behavior and has me considering a switch to Logic. Has anyone done a side by side comparison using the same or similar source material and measured the results in terms of processing demand? Unless Logic has significant performance benefits it's not really worth the effort to make the change.

can i upgrade to Logic Studio 9 from logic express 8

I have Logic Express 8, and would like to upgrade to the full Pro version of Logic 9. Can you do this or do I need to upgrade to Logic Express 9 and then upgrade Logic Studio 9 ?

does logic pro 9 work with pro tools interface

every time i try to change the interface settings in preferences/ Audio to digidesign i crash! any advice out there cheers Don

Can Logic Pro 9 record inputs from multiple interfaces?

For example, Can i use two Tascam US-1641 interfaces simultaniously and have 16 channels of microphone in?

Or can Logic only recognize one at a time?

I had Logic Express 7, then upgraded to Logic Studio w/ Logic Pro 8. Now I want to upgrade to Studio w/ Logic Pro 9. Which upgrade do I buy?

Will my logic Pro 9 be compatible with a digidesign control 24 (08 model)?

I would like to use an 08 model digidesign control 24 with my logic pro 9. The web sight and my software itself claims to support all manor of mixers, but I have read different things online.

Anyone been able to do this?
