I read that LC from London has stated that Logic 9 upgrade will run on a power PC, i have a 1.8GHz PowerPC G5, can i upgrade from Logic Studio 8 ?

hello, i have a dual 2 gig G5, i've heard despite the minimum requirements, that logic 9 will work on G5s. anybody know if this is true or not?

Logic Pro.app 9.1.1.

I installed the Logic Studio from its Install DVD and its accompanying 7 CDs' contents on my Mac Version 10.7.2 with Processor 2.66 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo and Memory * GB 1067 MHz DDR3.
When I tried to launch the Logic Pro.app, it says "You can't use this version of the application Logic Pro.app with this version of Mac OS X. You have Logic Pro.app 9.1.1.
Where can I find this Logic Pro.app 9.1.1.?
Please kindly help and inform me.

I have Logic5 (Emagic) do I qualify for the upgrade to Logic9?

I bought logic 5 a couple of years ago still under Emagic I also bougth many of the instruments ES1, ES2, EVOC20 EXSP24 and EVP 73. Do I qualify for the upgrade offer for Logic 9?

How does Logic 7 compare to Logic 9?

I am a current user of Logic 7. I had originally purchased this program for the purposes of film scoring. Prior to having a mac book pro, I used Sonar in Windows. I've had alot of issues with Logic 7 in terms of recording my own material. It randomly deletes lso files~ different tracks are randomly at different volumes... i could go on and on- the biggest drag though is, when I do have a problem, 7 is outdated, and it's difficult to resolve issues. The biggest issue has been saving projects, lso's etc. to an external hard drive- if I move it or save it- it erases the aiff and i have to manually search for it... if it's there at all!!! If anyone has any input I would be very grateful. Christine Hagan

I have an old G5 with 6Mg RAM running 10.5.8. Will I have any problems running the update to Logic Pro please?
