I didn't install my old Logic Pro 6 software on my new MacBook Pro. Do I have to install it first to do the "upgrade" to Logic Studio?
I'd like to purchase the "upgrade" from Logic Pro 6 to Logic Studio. I don't have my old Logic 6 software installed on my new MacBook Pro, do I have to install the old Logic Pro 6 version first before running the upgrade to Logic Studio? Or is the Logic Studio upgrade a complete install on its own?

I have the last version Logic Studio (Logic Pro 8). What upgrade do I buy to get the new version (Logic Pro 9)? Is this $199 upgrade the right one?
I just want to upgrade from Logic Studio 8 to Logic Studio 9. I have the full version (not Express) of Logic Studio with Logic Pro 8, and I want to buy Logic Studio with Logic Pro 9. Is this $199 "Logic Studio - Upgrade from Logic Pro or Logic Studio" product what I should buy? Also, I would like to know if I'm missing out on anything by getting the upgrade instead of the full version. In other words, does the upgrade still come with all the same books and manuals for Logic Studio 9 that the full version would come with? Thank you very much for your help.

Do I have to have a version of Logic Studio or Logic Pro to get this, or is this a full version already? Is this an upgrade?
I am currently using garage band to make songs on my MacBook (the white one). I want to upgrade to Logic Studio and want to get this but I'm not sure if this is an upgrade and I have to have a version of LogicStudio of Logic Pro installed already? What is the difference between this $199 version and the LogicStudio for $499? Thanks

I do have a OEM version of Logic 9. Can I apply for the upgrade option instead of the full retail version?
Software seems to be complete and it takes the S/N given to me, and it runs perfectly, but any update automatically denies me access with the previous entered S/N.
Was my OEM version of this software used for piracy?- Asked by Lord'sman B

Page 81 of the Logic Studio 8 User Manual states that Logic Pro Can be used as a lighting controller (Also in Logic 9), has anyone tried this? How?
This sentence is all I can find in all the manuals about using Logic and midi to control lighting. I have a DMX Operator Pro with midi IN and would like to try this on live gigs while using Logic. Does Anyone have any experience with this? I'm sure there would be better software for lighting, but since Apple has said that it can perform this function I would like to explore the possibility. I have a few Par 64's and some design Spot 250's that I want to control. Any suggestions?
