do the 17in and 15 in take the same battery?

I have a 17inch macbook pro 2.66GHz intel core 2 duo. need to replace the battery but the model number is showing up for 15in. can it be they are the same? just wondering. dont wanna go off and pay $129 for something that wont work. Thanks in advance!

Would a 15" macbook pro battery fit into a Macbook 13.3" aluminium?

Just bought a macbook unibody off eBay and they battery will last for around 3 hours, I want to get a macbook pro battery as im' told they last for around 7? Just wandering if it would fit? Thanks

Is there an external battery that works with the Macbook Pro 13"?

I bought and just received my new Macbook Pro 13". When I bought it online, I also bought the external battery "assuming" it would work with this unit. I now realise, I think, what I bought will not work. (I have not yet received the battery, but the unit clearly is not made for a simple replacement. Is there an external battery that works with the Macbook Pro 13" I am now the proud owner of? Thanks in advance. JR
