Will the mini display port to VGA adapter work for MACBookPro and Thunderbolt?

How do I connect my 32' Sanyo to my Macbook with a mini display port to VGA adapter

I have the mini display port to VGA adapter. I have the VGA to VGA cable ready. I just can't get any picture to my Sanyo HDTV. I must be missing something so I would love some help for this. If I could get the exact ports and places to go that would be preferred. Thanks

Can mini display to VGA cable be used for thunderbolt to VGA conversion?

Thunderbolt to VGA cable is not yet available in my place and i need to make a presentation in 5 days. Is the mini display to VGA cable compatible with thunderbolt port? Thanks in advance

iPod to VGA/LCD display

Hi,
I would like to show a video I created on iMovie. Instead of transporting my entire MacBook, I'd like to just transport the video on my iPod. Is there a cable that can go from my iPod to a VGA/LCD projector? Is there a combination of 2 cables that would make this work?

What adapter do I need to run my hp w2207h 22" monitor using my Macbook pro? I have read DVI to DVI then from that to another adapter DVI To VGA.

It should be as easy as using the Mini with the VGA adapter but I have read it does not work. The monitor has a HDMI port, is there an adapter that can be used from the HDMI to the MacBook Pro?

Does this adapter carry analog signals, converts it, or uses apple trickery?

This is really bugging me. I want to hook my unibody mbp up to my tv via composite cable. Composite is roughly the analog components of VGA. VGA is analog, correct? but the pin-out on the mini display port does not specify a dedicated analog path. but it does have vague reverences to non-video data lines (pin 2 and 4)

I have tried mini DP ->DVI-I adapter, to a DVI-I -> component cable with no success. (implying no analog present at all)

so, how is analog getting out of the port for VGA? is there a feedback resistor inside the adapter which is communicating with the video card to specify digital for the DVI-d adapter, and analog for the VGA adapter? what this all is implying to me is you only get analog out of the graphics card with a VGA adapter and only digital with the DVI-d.

Display wont let me output 1680x1050 to it through the Mini DisplayPort.

My LG Flatron L227WTG display won't accept it's full resolution of 1680x1050 when it comes from the mini DisplayPort (VGA). It WILL accept 1440 resolution, but not the 1680. I see no problems with the mini DVI port on my old MacBook.

Is this a problem with my display, cord, or did I just buy the wrong adapter? Would using a DVI input fix this? Or do I have to buy the upscaled HD Mini DisplayPort adapter instead?

I am looking for the correct cable to connect to a VGA projector (iMac 11,2 intel core i3) Is it the mini-DVI to VGA or the mini display port to VGA?

Will the Adapter Make the Laptop Screen go Blank?

I want the screen image to display on the screen of my Early 2011 MacBook Pro, as well as on whatever I plug into the adapter. Will it do this?
