What cable and/or adapter do I need to connect my external speakers to my MacBook Air (original model with fold-down tab with USB, audio out slots)?
The MacBook Air has an audio out jack that fits earphones, but is too narrow for my almost 1/2" round iMac speaker cable. Is there an adapter available for the Air?

Will this adapter work connecting the first generation iPad with a MacBook pro?
I am in the process of looking to buy a new laptop. I have the iPad, not the iPad 2. I am hoping there is some sort of adapter that I can buy to connect the iPad to my MacBook pro? Thus it would serve as a "link" between the 2 so I could switch screens and drag items from one screen to the other?
Thank you very much for your time.- Asked by Erica E from Boyertown

What would be the noticeable difference between connecting my 24" monitor to my MBP with a Mini DisplayPort->VGA vs. Mini DisplayPort->DVI?
I have always used a DVI cable to connect my computer to my monitor (with a DVI-I connection), but recently updated my MacBook Pro, and have realized that Apple has changed the connection they support. They only make Mini DisplayPort to DVI-D. The Apple genius at the store wasn't able to help me, or explain why they had made the switch. Right now I need to decide which connector to buy, and whether it makes sense to go out of my way to also get new DVI cables for my monitor setup.
