What do I need to connect a MacBook Pro with retina display laptop to a projector

I just bought a macbook pro with retina display and don't know what I need to connect it to a projector for my power point presentations. What do I need to get?

What would be the noticeable difference between connecting my 24" monitor to my MBP with a Mini DisplayPort->VGA vs. Mini DisplayPort->DVI?

I have always used a DVI cable to connect my computer to my monitor (with a DVI-I connection), but recently updated my MacBook Pro, and have realized that Apple has changed the connection they support. They only make Mini DisplayPort to DVI-D. The Apple genius at the store wasn't able to help me, or explain why they had made the switch. Right now I need to decide which connector to buy, and whether it makes sense to go out of my way to also get new DVI cables for my monitor setup.

iPod to VGA/LCD display

Hi,
I would like to show a video I created on iMovie. Instead of transporting my entire MacBook, I'd like to just transport the video on my iPod. Is there a cable that can go from my iPod to a VGA/LCD projector? Is there a combination of 2 cables that would make this work?

I have bought a new 13" unibody macbook pro, and the mini display port is smaller than the white macbook's one. What cable to i need is it this one?

The mini display port is smaller than the one on my old white macbook. And can't seem to find a lead for the new macbook, so i can connect to a projector.

Can this VGA adapter connect my new macbook pro to a projector via thunderbolt?

The new released macbook pro don't have the usual mini displayport but only have thunderbolt. I have purchased one VGA adapter for my old macbook pro 2010, and it worked fine. However, since I changed to the new macbook pro 2012, the VGA adapter stopped functioning if I connected the projector via the thunderbolt. I wonder what kind of adapter I need to connect a projector to my new macbook pro.

Will this allow me to connect my new Macbook pro 15" to any projector or pc computer?

I have been working on a presentation in iMovie and I need to present it at school, so that I need something that will help me to project the iMovie project into a projector or into the pc which is connected to the projector.

what cable do i use for audio for my Macbook pro to Plasma tv?

I have the VGA cable all set up but i need one to connect to headphone jack to tv (not sure where on tv) so that i can get the audio as well. thanks
